Do you have experience in Consumer Insights, Market Research, and Competitive Intelligence? Do you have a passion for video games? If so, you may just be a fit for our Consumer Insights Manager - Digital Games role! From exciting new titles in development to our broad portfolio of Hasbro brands such as Yahtzee and Monopoly, we have a compelling set of digital game experiences to work on.
This team member will join the growing Publishing group as a partner to our internal video game studios and publishing partners. The anchoring motivation of the person in this role is a deep passion for consumer insights research and curiosity about the needs and motivations of gamers and the gaming industry.
This person will work closely with business partners to understand insights needs and conduct high-quality research to support strategic decision making and video game development. Under the direction of the Director of Consumer Insights and Analytics for Digital Games, they will be a champion of the voice of the player, and a trusted resource for gaming industry market intelligence. The ideal candidate has proven capabilities across quantitative and qualitative primary research, data analysis, project management, and strong consultative abilities.
This position will be onsite 3 days a week based at the Wizards HQ in Renton, Washington.
A Day in the Life of the Consumer Insights Manager:
  • In partnership with the Director of Consumer Insights and Analytics, create market intelligence deliverables to drive strategies and planning, including opportunity sizing, player profiling and gamer intelligence, white space analyses, and genre/game teardowns.
  • Conduct primary research studies using custom and standardized approaches, including mixed-method foundational studies, segmentations, audience deep dives, concept testing, and messaging/campaign testing.
  • Be a trusted expert in our 3rd party data sources such as Newzoo, Circana, Quantic Foundry, and Sensor Tower, providing ad-hoc analyses for our publishing teams and internal studios.
  • Be a great partner coordinating day-to-day operations with our research vendors and data partners to ensure on-time, quality delivery of insights.
  • Be a champion of the voice of our digital games players, using consumer and competitor insights to influence franchise strategies, products, and marketing.
What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years in consumer insights, market research and/or user experience roles.
  • A passion for video games on Console, PC and/or Mobile and practical experience working in the video game or digital media industry.
  • Significant experience analyzing and synthesizing data across industry, game, consumer, and omni-channel data sources, finding the story behind the numbers to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Demonstrated experience running end-to-end consumer research studies; creating questionnaires, leading fieldwork, analyzing data and writing reports.
  • Deep expertise in quantitative and qualitative consumer insights methods, including survey research, focus groups, and in-depth interviews
  • Experience with advanced survey methodologies a plus, including; segmentation, max diff, and conjoint.
  • High-level analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools and navigating Power BI dashboards.
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau/PowerBI, Snowflake a plus.

The pay transparency range for this role is listed below. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
