This job develops and delivers AI-enabled product capabilities that bring intelligent automation, agentic workflows, and decision support into FreeWheel's applications. The role owns the implementation of AI-powered features and services while collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing AI-powered product features and services.
  • Developing applications and workflows that integrate LLM, agent, or machine learning capabilities.
  • Contributing to evaluation, observability, and continuous improvement of AI solutions.
  • Collaborating with product, data, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Improving reliability, performance, and scalability of AI-powered capabilities.
  • Participating in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
  • Troubleshooting production issues and driving root-cause analysis.
  • Contributing reusable components and patterns that accelerate AI adoption across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications.
  • Experience working with AI/ML platforms, LLMs, agents, or intelligent automation solutions.
  • Understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and software architecture patterns.
  • Experience delivering production software in collaborative engineering environments

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate innovative software solutions that align with business needs
  • Conducting analysis of system requirements and the customization of applications to ensure optimal functionality
  • Assisting with the software update process for existing applications and roll-outs of software releases
  • Mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and shared knowledge within the team
  • Engaging with Quality Assurance to verify that software meets technical specifications and delivering high-quality, reliable applications
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in software applications and systems

Virginia Pay Range: $120,212.52 - $180,318.78Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
