FOX News Channel is looking for a Freelance Producer for My View with Lara Trump and Sunday Night with Trey Gowdy. The Freelance Producer will utilize their strong editorial judgement to help execute compelling interviews and guest segments.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pitch unique feature stories and interview guests

  • Be read-in and remain updated with current events and topics of interest

  • Use editorial judgment to develop interview research packets for host

  • Provide conciseand informative scripts for show tapings

  • Work with a team to produce compelling and informative packages based on interviews conducted in the field

  • Build video and graphic elements as needed

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience

  • Experience producing news packages

  • Strong logistical and editorial skills with knowledge of national and international stories

  • Ability to be a self-starter who can work independently, as well as a team player

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Familiarity with iNews is a plus

  • Must be flexible with your schedule and willing to work both weekdays and weekends
