Job Description:
As a Sales Consultant at Yottaquest, you will join the current team in providing courteous and excited service to customers. Our consultants arent just cashiers, and you wont be either! We offer a hands on, direct customer experience and you will spend most of your time on the floor giving knowledgeable, targeted advice and recommendations to customers. Sales experience is required, but we will teach you new abilities and skills about the games industry through fun and illustrative training. Our ideal candidate may have an interest in games, but has a passion for people and service.
Compensation: $18 starting with performance and achievement based raises available for future growth
Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times
  • Interview customers to understand their requirements and shape personalized recommendations
  • Operate the register and assist in checking out customers and creating customer orders
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current and upcoming inventory
  • Answer calls and aid customers over the phone
  • Manage multiple customers at once through clear communication
  • Pivot quickly when new policies are put into place
  • Support the warehouse team in re-stocking and merchandising
  • Process customers from beginning to end or make a deliberate and detailed hand-off
  • Comfortably call dozens of customers for their special orders and subscriptions
  • Develop working relationships with customers and learn shopping habits
  • Help prevent loss of merchandise and maintain a safe environment
  • Clean sales floor, shelves, bathroom, and work stations as needed
  • Other tasks as required featuring your own unique special skills (design, carpentry, programming etc.)

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and climb a ladder when required to stock shelves
  • Ability to work on your feet for ninety percent of the day
  • Ability to work flexible hours, nights, Saturdays and Mondays
  • Ability to work alone and as part of an active team
  • Ability to handle large groups of people for long periods of time
  • Ability to manage confrontations and escalating issues
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask

  • 3 years experience in a sales consultant or related position

  • 5+ years experience in a sales consultant or similar position
  • Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel
