KontrolFreek is headquartered in Atlanta.
Job Description
KontrolFreek is seeking a Junior Designer to deliver digital solutions for a diverse range of marketing and integrated communications needs. This position requires a creative, detail-oriented individual is comfortable multi-tasking, collaborating and coordinating with online and offline systems and team members at KontrolFreek. The successful candidate will be responsible for both design and execution and must be able to take creative concepts through to finished solutions. They will need to be able to interpret brand standards and adapt as needed to digital and offline channels. Independent problem-solving skills, initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment are critical. This position reports to the Creative Director. It is based in our offices in Midtown - Atlanta, GA.
Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design and test email marketing campaigns, relying on best practices to achieve consistent user experience across various desktop, email clients and platforms.
  • Execute new concepts and strategies, including storyboards
  • Repurpose, rework and revise existing content as needed.
  • Work closely with both online and offline areas within the company to ensure brand and message consistency.
  • Support our designers on projects as needed (UX and visual).
  • Help designers prepare approved designs for development.
  • Participate in brainstorming creative concepts for projects.
  • Assist on quality assurance testing and content population.
  • Collaborate with creative/marketing team to manage KontrolFreek newsletters.
  • Create artwork for KontrolFreek marketing platforms.
  • Work with creative director and marketing team to update KontrolFreek website.
  • Work with creative director and marketing team to create visual content (infographics, memes, etc.) for the web and social
  • Prepare presentation materials with business development and sales teams.
    Generate graphics for internal events, documents, and products

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • One to three years experience and a solid understanding of email marketing standards and best web practices, plus interaction design principles.
  • Strong understanding of the process of concept development, copywriting and storyboarding for presentations
  • Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with tech support, executive management, creative supervisors and team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Video production/editing experience a plus.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Interest or experience in the Gaming industry a plus. Knowledge of video games preferred

  • Adobe CS4 Suite and up: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro Dreamweaver
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Ability to work cross-platform (PC and Mac) and with various presentation devices (projector, monitor, interactive touch screen).
  • MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
