The Opportunity:

As our Social Media and Influencer Relations Associate, you'll help shape how Grafana Labs shows up across social media, executive thought leadership, and the technical creator community. You'll partner closely with Social Media, PR, Content, Product Marketing, Community, Events, and Developer Relations to create engaging content, grow our influencer program, support executive social, and build AI-assisted workflows that help our team work smarter. We're looking for a curious, collaborative self-starter who enjoys wearing multiple hats, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to combine creativity with thoughtful execution.ย 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support and evolve the company's influencer relations and content creator program, including strategy, recruitment, onboarding, budgeting, relationship management, and reportingย 
  • Develop social media plans for spokespeople, helping translate industry trends, product narratives, and leadership perspectives into thoughtful social content
  • Draft, edit, and publish leaders' social content across channels such as LinkedIn and X
  • Assist the Sr. Social Media Manager in managing the employee advocacy program to amplify key messages through our Grafanistasย 
  • Build and optimize AI-assisted workflows to support content development, campaign planning, and stakeholder collaboration, while maintaining strong human judgment and editorial oversight
  • Partner cross-functionally with social, PR, community, product marketing, events, and developer relations to identify creator opportunities and integrate influencer efforts, executive social media programs, and employee advocacy into broader campaignsย 
  • Support the Sr. Social Media Manager with social content creation and adaptation across Grafana Labs' social channels - short-form video and campaign toolkitsย 
  • Help manage, schedule, and publish Grafana Labs' award-winning Big Tent podcastย 
  • Support internal communications coordination, helping to amplify team achievements and corporate milestones through appropriate internal channelsย 
  • Serve as a flexible partner on high-priority PR moments, providing additional support where needed across planning, writing, coordination, amplification, and analysis
  • Provide on-site support at company and industry events, including staffing executive and customer interviews

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of marketing experience, preferably in social media marketing or public relations at a fast-growing start-upย 
  • Proven experience building AI workflows using tools such as Claude Code to enhance brainstorming and optimize processesย 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities and strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel (~20%) globally
  • Proficiency in Sprout Social, Brandwatch, BusinessWire (or similar tools)
  • Minimum 2 years of video-editing experience with tools like Descript, Premiere (or similar)ย 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a globally distributed team in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new marketing trends and technologies
  • Proven track record of developing high-impact influencer campaignsย 

Compensation & Rewards:

In the United States, the base compensation range for this role is $88,000 - $106,000.ย  Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. Benefits include equity, and other benefits listed on our careers page.
