Description:

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Content Intern to help develop engaging video content across YouTube, social media, and other marketing channels. In this role, you’ll repurpose interviews, customer conversations, and virtual recordings into polished short-form content, while also supporting video needs for marketing campaigns, events, and other initiatives.

You’ll work closely with the Marketing team to identify opportunities to extend the value of existing video content and create additional marketing assets. You’ll also manage YouTube uploads and help produce AI-generated and externally sourced video content, ensuring everything aligns with our brand, messaging, and quality standards. 

This position will work remote from the candidate’s home office and is expected to work approximately 20 hours per month to meet deadlines set by the Director of Marketing. This internship will start anytime and last for a term set upon hire.


Responsibilities:

  • Repurpose long-form video content into engaging short-form videos for use across marketing channels, including YouTube and social media
  • Manage video uploads to YouTube, including basic titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and organization
  • Create video content from Zoom-style interviews, customer conversations, and virtual recordings, turning long-form conversations into polished, engaging marketing content
  • Edit and produce basic video content for marketing campaigns, events, and other promotional needs as they arise
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify opportunities to turn existing video content into additional marketing assets
  • Manage and create AI-produced video content, ensuring all AI-generated or externally produced videos meet brand standards for messaging, visual identity, quality, and format
  • Create event recap/highlight videos to showcase key moments, speakers, and experiences (preferred but not required)
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field preferred
  • 1+ years of experience creating and editing video content, ideally in a marketing, communications, or content role
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Experience with virtual event platforms 
  • Proficiency with a video editing platform such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.
  • Experience repurposing long-form video into short-form content for platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social channels
  • Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, composition, audio, and basic motion graphics
  • Experience working with interviews, Zoom recordings, podcasts, or other conversational video content
  • Ability to create clean, engaging thumbnails, titles, and basic YouTube descriptions
  • Strong attention to detail and an understanding of brand standards and visual consistency
