Digital Marketing Specialist

Concept2, a market-leading manufacturer of stationary fitness ergometers and composite racing oars, is seeking a motivated, creative Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role combines social media platform management, digital storytelling, and content creation. Successful Concept2 employees combine self-sufficiency and personal accountability with strong teamwork skills. The position is based at our headquarters in Morrisville, Vermont, with potential for some remote work.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Social media management and daily execution across customer-facing platforms
  • On-site content capture at key events, races, competitions, and activations
  • Manage community engagement and social listening
  • Project management and coordination of digital campaigns and content calendars
  • Content creation, including photography, video capture and editing
  • Manage photo / video shoots
  • Support current and future athlete sponsorship and ambassador initiatives
  • Liaison management for external content creators and contractors
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, events, and B2B sales teams

Required Qualifications and Key Competencies

  • 2+ years of experience managing social media accounts and digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience creating content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Basic graphic design and video editing using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar.
  • Skilled in content production, analytics and digital storytelling
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Experience in fitness, endurance sports, rowing, training, or the broader exercise industry
  • Comfortable in customer-facing and community-facing environments, both in-person and on-screen
  • Ability to travel and work at events approximately 25% of the time
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Compensation for this position consists of a fixed salary range of $50k-$60k, plus participation in a quarterly variable wage program that is based on company and employee performance, and that adds significantly to total compensation.
