TMZ is looking for a Web Editor to edit footage in a fast-paced news environment. The Web Editor will be responsible for editing and preparing video procured from various sources for web publication, as well as distribution to our mobile partners and other media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pop culture, creative storytelling, and strong editorial judgement.

Digital Video Editor

Role Type: Full-time

Requirements:

  • Experience editing news stories, a plus
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere
  • Photoshop skills necessary
  • Strong editorial judgement
  • Familiarity with various video formats (MPEG, MP4, MOV, etc.)
  • Basic Web Development / HTML knowledge
  • Knowledgeable in Online Video Platform
  • Familiarity with a media management system
  • Team player who can work with different teams
  • Ability to work full-time from our Playa Vista location
