Video Editor Intern
Media & Marketing Department
Location: NJ (Multi-Site + Hybrid)
Position Overview
Alliance Orthopedics is investing in a professional-grade, two-camera Sony FX6/FX3 production setup to produce clinical
education content, social media video, provider spotlights, and patient success stories across nine New Jersey locations.
We need a driven video editor who is hungry for hands-on production experience in a growing media operation.
The Video Editor Intern will work alongside our Media Director and content team to edit raw footage into polished, on-brand
video content for YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and internal communications. This is a production-forward role, expect to
touch real footage from day one.
Key Responsibilities
• Edit raw footage into short-form and long-form video content optimized for social and web platforms
• Add lower-thirds, graphics, color grades, and sound design to raw cuts
• Assist on-location during filming sessions at Alliance Orthopedics clinic sites
• Collaborate with graphic designers on motion graphics and animated title sequences
• Organize and archive project files, media assets, and export deliverables
• Edit provider feature videos, patient testimonials, and educational clinical content
• Support Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts content with fast-turnaround edits
Qualifications & Requirements
• Currently enrolled in a Film, Video Production, or Digital Media
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects and DaVinci Resolve a plus
• Working knowledge of video codecs, export settings, and aspect ratios for major platforms
• Understanding of basic color correction and audio mixing
• Strong attention to pacing, storytelling, and visual continuity
• Showreel or edited sample work required at time of application
• Must be eligible to receive academic credit through your university
