Job Summary:

Find your next career adventure with SUNPAN and be part of our Marketing Team with the role of Video Content Creator. Reporting to the Marketing Director, Digital & Communications, this role is a creative storyteller who shares a passion for telling compelling visual stories of our brand, products, and people. You are a social media savant and thrive in digital spaces. You will be an integral part of the Marketing team and work closely with the Social Media Content Creator to develop and create high-quality visual content that elevates SUNPAN and sparks conversations about the brand.


About the Role:


  • Content Creation:Conceptualize, shoot, and edit high-quality, engaging video content for SUNPAN's social media channels and website to drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Creative Asset Development:Produce and package social-media-friendly creative assets, including product videos, staff/customer interviews, trade show highlights, and carousel content.
  • Interview Coordination:Organize and host interviews with customers and staff to produce captivating digital content for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with the Social Media Content Creator to develop the content calendar and participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative, trend-forward ideas.
  • Post-Production:Retouch and enhance video quality through color correction, audio mixing, and other advanced post-production techniques.
  • Content Strategy:Pitch creative ideas to management that differentiate SUNPAN in the social media landscape while aligning with brand guidelines.
  • Storyboarding:Build detailed storyboards to execute creative visions and assist in developing innovative social media templates.
  • Audience Engagement:Demonstrate a strong understanding of SUNPAN's audience and create content that resonates with them.
  • Production Support:Assist in planning and coordinating photoshoots and video productions alongside the Creative Director.
  • Competitor Analysis:Monitor and report on competitor social media and communication strategies to identify and implement trending tactics.
  • Event Travel: Travel to trade shows to create and support social and video content production.
  • Event Coverage:Work during weekends for key trade shows and pre-scheduled shoots as required.
  • Overseas Coordination: Work with overseas videographers, guiding shoot execution through structured shot lists and creative briefs.
  • Additional Duties:Support other ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.


Let's Talk About You:


  • Video Production Expertise:Proficiency in shooting and editing short-form and long-form video content. A portfolio showcasing relevant work is required.
  • Industry Experience:Minimum of 2 years as a social media producer/editor with a proven track record of digital storytelling, audience growth, and high engagement.
  • Software Knowledge:Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, After Effects, Photoshop, DaVinci and InDesign.
  • Technical Skills:Experience with color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects, along with a strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
  • Editing Mastery:Strong knowledge of video editing principles, including pacing, timing, and storytelling.
  • Organizational Skills:Ability to manage multiple projects with keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Collaborative Approach:Professionalism and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to work weekends for key events and productions as needed.
