Job description

As a leader in the industry, Underground Eyes and BLD Services LLC, an Azuria Water Solutions company, are a company that has been providing pipeline protection services since 2009. BLD Services values employee development and empowerment and is looking for innovative individuals to join their team and contribute to maintaining critical infrastructure worldwide.
We are currently seeking a Pipeline Video Assistant Operator-Laborer to join our team in Nashville, TN. As a Pipeline Video Assistant Operator, you will be responsible for assisting the Truck Operators and CCTV inspection operators with setup at the job site and supporting them throughout the job, which may include driving a support vehicle with equipment. The Laborer will also work effectively with supervisors and peers in the successful rehabilitation and repair of a variety of sewer and storm water lines. This position requires working with minimal oversite while still adhering to instructions closely.
The starting pay is $20.00 per hour and may increase based on industry experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist the CCTV inspection operators with setup and provide support throughout the job
  • Assist the video operator with getting the equipment in and out of the pipe
  • Drive support vehicles (pickup trucks) with equipment while pulling a water jetter for cleaning the pipe
  • Operate the water jetter when needed
  • Provide any support work needed in and around sewer and storm drains
  • Locate the camera in the pipe when needed
  • Perform set up and clean up tasks at job site / shop

What We Need From You:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience as a Construction or Field Laborer is highly preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required with a clean motor vehicle report
  • Must have strong communication skills, be reliable, and be a team player
  • Ability to lift / move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Comfortable working in and around sewer and storm drains
  • Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
  • Must be able to travel when needed (potentially out of state)
