Position Summary
Institutional Support Services (ISS) is an organization at UNM dedicated to contributing to student success by creating a beautiful, functional and culturally rich environment for learning, research and collaboration. ISS is committed to providing exceptional customer service and innovative solutions to support the campus community.
The Marketing Assistant supports the ISS Marketing & Communications team in the development and execution of marketing initiatives that promote services, programs and campus experiences. This role provides hands-on experience in content creation, design, digital communications and project coordination.
The successful candidate will assist with developing marketing materials, supporting photo and video production, drafting content for web and email, and helping coordinate campaigns across multiple ISS departments. This position requires a creative, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects while maintaining brand standards and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including digital and print assets
  • Support content development for websites, email communications and social media
  • Assist with photography and video production, including on-site support
  • Help coordinate marketing campaigns and track project progress
  • Maintain brand consistency across all communications
  • Provide general support to the Marketing & Communications team as needed
