Participate in code reviews and improve engineering standards.
Build testing, observability, security, and operational readiness into services.
Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve delivery, investigation, and learning.

8+ years experience with a modern programming language such as Ruby, Scala, Python, Java, or TypeScript.
5+ years experience building or integrating with APIs and backend services.
Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases and data modeling.
Familiarity with automated testing, version control, and modern software delivery practices.
Understanding of cloud application development and distributed systems.
Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools to plan work, refine specifications, delegate tasks, and validate implementation quality.

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $170,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
