We are conducting a search for a VP of Sales with a well-established, home health and hospice operator on the West Coast, overseeing a multi-branch, multi-state organization

Position Summary

This is a hybrid VP role sitting between corporate sales strategy and field execution. You will manage and develop a sales organization of approximately 3 dozen reps across multiple branches.

The person who succeeds here is equally comfortable reviewing KPI dashboards and coaching managers to develop their reps as they are opening referral-source relationships at hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, develop, and hold accountable a sales organization of reps and regional managers

- Own the sales strategy, forecast, and KPI framework; manage performance through data and analytics tools

- Coach regional managers to develop their reps and improve production; address tenure and retention challenges across a team with wide variation in performance levels

- Maintain active field presence: accompany reps, open referral-source relationships, and hand those relationships to the appropriate regional layer

- Drive census growth in earlier-stage branches where market penetration is still developing

- Support growth of a still-developing hospice service line at select branch locations

- Partner with clinical, operations, and finance leadership on forecasting, capacity planning, and branch-level performance

- Build a clear sales culture that reduces rep turnover and raises the floor on team production

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience leading a multi-rep home health or hospice sales organization, with a management layer beneath you

- Proven track record of sales leadership

- Experience growing earlier-stage markets, new branches, and developing service lines

- regional or VP-level experience required

- High-accountability work style

- Home health and hospice background required
