Position Summary 

The Development - Vice President will work with the IT leadership in conjunction with other department leaders to define and deploy the delivery transformation agenda along with the transition roadmap. The Vice President is expected to build strong relationships in IT, with a focus on collaboration and direct communication. This position will aid the department in meeting the company’s strategic goals. 

Essential Job Functions
  • Developing Project Management methodologies and project standards in collaboration with IT leadership, the methodologies may include Design Thinking, Lean & Agile methodologies, etc.
  • Lead efforts to bring about operational and culture change to the organization by implementing innovative solutions to improve process controls, cost reduction, efficiency, productivity and quality with the goal of exceeding customers’ expectations.
  • Deliver business value by assuming responsibility for the delivery of medium-to-large IT projects that are often cross-organizational initiatives in support of strategic objectives.
  • Work in a consultative fashion with other IT leaders that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strategize, implement, and maintain on time delivery of program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives.
  • Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached Continuously evaluate technical efficiency and recommend changes as necessary.
  • Support IT leadership functions including annual planning, budgeting, status reporting, presentations and continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for project communications, identification of issues/risks and escalation of critical issues to senior leaders. Provide recommendations and/or solutions to identify issues.
  • Build a culture dedicated to Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, and Quality.
  • Excellent knowledge of applying SCRUM/Agile/Lean start up methodologies.
  • Actively promote the mission of the company within the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years' progressive Information Technology experience; 5 or more years management and strategic experience.
  • Possess strong information technology acumen and is up to date will changing trends in the field.
  • Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.
  • Working knowledge of digital transformation
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and follow up, ensure achievement of deadlines, outcomes, and results.
  • Demonstrate company core values of excellence, ownership, collaboration, and integrity.
