Job Summary

Student Leadership and Engagement needs a student to assist with routine office activities such as answering phones, filing, typing, mail deliveries, copying, making student/faculty IDs, updating flyers on bulletin boards, assisting with student events, and other assigned duties.

Job Duties

  • Operate office equipment such as telephone, fax machine, copier, and ID machine. Greet office visitors, and answer and document all phone calls.
  • Update event flyers on assigned bulletin boards around campus. Participate in setup, process, and breakdown of student events.
  • Log Students who visit the game room and assist with maintaining order in the student game room.
  • Provide student surveys after events.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a registered student of Southwest Tennessee Community College.
  • Only students who are approved for Federal Work Study are qualified for this position.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of modem office practices, procedures, and equipment. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively
