About the Role
iCapital is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join the Advisor Platform Product team. This individual will play a critical role in strengthening platform resilience and shaping risk-informed decisions that influence product strategy and execution. This role will learn the platform deeply, manage incidents end-to-end, and ensure risk insights translate into practical improvements. The ideal candidate will partner closely with the Product and Engineering teams, spot patterns, and help turn recurring issues into systemic fixes that influence roadmap priorities.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the full incident lifecycle which includes intake, triage, root cause analysis, and resolution.
  • Turn recurring issues into systemic fixes and roadmap recommendations.
  • Introduce risk-adjusted thinking into product planning and new launches.
  • Standardize playbooks and align with enterprise frameworks.
  • Deliver sharp updates and documentation for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Leverage risk insights visibly influencing product decisions and roadmap priorities.
  • Track and resolve incidents efficiently with clear documentation.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Operations, and Risk teams.

Qualifications
  • 6 - 10+ years in product management, risk management, or operations in complex environments
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle risks and operational controls
  • Experience in fintech or financial services; familiarity with SDLC and enterprise risk frameworks
  • Able to proactively influence decisions and drive accountability
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data and dashboards to identify patterns and inform decisions
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive-ready summaries
  • Familiarity with SQL is preferred
  • Experience with workflow and tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Monday.com) and dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau) is preferred

Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
