SUMMARY:


The Associate Vice President, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for the direction and coordination of the Community Based Services provided through the Certified Community Behavioral Health Center model, including all sites, agency wide. This position provides strategic leadership and oversight, programmatic and systems oversight and program expansion for Santa Fe Recovery Center’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Centers and all Outpatient Services.

The Associate Vice President will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation, quality improvement, and operational excellence.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:


· Lead the planning, and implementation of expansion of community-based services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

· Ensure adherence to CCBHC model of care, standardizing procedures across the organization.

· Oversee the timely collection and submission of required data and evaluation of the data for all components of service

· Establish, implement and monitor proper documentation of activities across all outpatient services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery, improve patient outcomes, and optimize operational efficiency.

· Foster partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies to expand access to behavioral health services.

· Build out and manage an Advisory committee of community stakeholders to ensure clear and ongoing service feedback and community need

· Monitor and evaluate program performance, utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision

· making and drive continuous improvement.

· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards.

· Create and maintain a business model that ensures quality care, proper staffing and billing methodologies to ensure compliance, growth and long-term sustainability.

· Maintain fiduciary responsibility for the program

· Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional development.

· Represent the organization at community events, conferences, and meetings to advocate for behavioral health initiatives and policies.

· Identify opportunities to optimize service delivery, increase revenue, and enhance sustainability across programs.

· Regularly assess and refine the care delivery model based on performance data, best practices, and emerging trends in behavioral health.

· Ensure that key outcomes are achieved by the expanded care coordination with a focus on the social determinants of health (SDOH), increased access to services including community behavioral services, medical, and mental health programs involving the SFRC core of Substance Use Disorders and Medically Assisted Treatment services.

· Ensure services are provided in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner.

· Located in Santa Fe, Regular travel to Gallup required

· Other duties as assigned


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


· Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred in human services field required.

· 4 years or more experience in project management

· Experience with federal grants management and Implementation preferred


Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:


· Thoroughness, communication, planning, project management, risk assessment analysis, resource management and timeliness are key.

· Must be able to work well under pressure and demonstrate good time management and organizational skills.

· Knowledge and skills pertaining to time-effective behavioral health care treatment approaches.

· Experience providing services to the grant’s target population including familiarity with relevant culture(s) and language(s).

· Experience with federally and privately funded grant operations.

· Ability to work with diverse teams of people.

· Advanced Excel user.

· Familiarity with electronic health record system.

· Strong written and oral skills are necessary.

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff within the organization and external stakeholders.

1. In the case of a recovering person, he/she must have successfully maintained a two (2) year period of abstinence from alcohol and other drugs.

2. Have or ability to obtain and maintain a State of New Mexico Criminal Records Clearance
