The VP, Product is a visionary role responsible for leading, designing, and executing upon our product roadmap and strategy - prioritizing affordability, MLR improvement, and VBC scaling beyond fragmented tools. The ideal candidate will be someone who thinks in systems, moves with urgency, and knows how to wield AI as a product accelerator and process enabler, not just a buzzword. This is a rare opportunity to own the product strategy at a high-growth healthcare infrastructure company at a pivotal inflection point. This role is a critical member of our Atlanta based team and will be depended upon to ensure the performance, strategy, and alignment of Enlace's product portfolio align with our corporate vision and strategic plan.
Success Metrics:
In 3 months:
    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Enlace Health's platform, services, customer base, and market dynamics, including key trends and leading technology trends and factors influencing value-based care.
    • Assess and begin optimizing the product development lifecycle, identifying and implementing improvements in collaboration with Technology, Sales, Client Success, and other departments.
    • Conduct an AI readiness assessment to identify near-term opportunities to enhance data analytics, operational efficiency and customer insights.
    • Establish strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on product strategy and immediate priorities.

In 4-6 months:
    • Deliver a detailed 24-month product roadmap that clearly outlines strategic priorities - including t-shirt-sized modules (Fabric/Analytics → Provider Enablement → Hierarchy → Administration) - with milestones, expected ROI, and market penetration targets. Ensure the roadmap aligns with company goals and market needs and aligns with the company's growth and expansion goals.
    • Lead an AI-first mindset across the company and Incorporate AI where it drives material value (e.g., predictive cost modeling, automated provider insights, natural language summarization of claims data, agentic-AI optimized workflows and processes, etc.) to improve decision-making speed and accuracy and expand the value of the Enlace platform and tech-enabled services.
    • Be recognized internally as a subject matter expert (SME) in risk-based VBC products focused on affordability/MLR, contributing thought leadership and engaging with customers and industry leaders.
    • Establish a proactive customer and market engagement program to capture insights, feedback, and pain points, using AI-assisted analytics to prioritize and interpret recurring themes, and leveraging AI and ML solutions to address and solve customer needs.
    • Strengthen collaboration among Product, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering by establishing shared dashboards and KPIs (feature utilization, customer segmentation, churn prediction).

In 6-9 months:
    • Deliver one or more major product releases or significant feature updates that address key market demands in value-based care while meeting projected ROI and performance metrics, and delivering top-line results.
    • Launch AI/ML-powered product features and modules that drive measurable impact.
    • Position Enlace as an AI thought leader in value-based care - producing content, case studies, and market insights.
    • Achieve measurable improvements in product adoption and usage, with clear evidence of customers realizing tangible value from Enlace.
    • Demonstrate product-driven revenue growth through new product features, partnerships, or expansions into new market segments.
    • Have a structured product team capable of executing on the product vision, with clear performance goals and an empowered, collaborative culture.
    • Continuously improve team productivity and data-driven decision-making through selective AI automation in roadmapping, customer listening, and analytics.
    • Achieve sustained product excellence, including improved customer satisfaction (NPS, e.g.), increased revenue growth, and margin target attainment.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing Product team while collaborating closely with other departments, including Technology Sales and Client Success, to drive product innovation while emphasizing data fluency and AI literacy across roles.
  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, integrating AI-assisted research, design, and prioritization tools to accelerate discovery and reduce time-to-market.
  • Lead the identification and validation of AI-first and AI-powered product opportunities, such as predictive provider enablement, automated VBC contracting insights, generative analytics reporting, and agentic AI-powered workflows and processes.
  • Define product strategy and 1-3 year product roadmap, outlining specifically how concepts are turned into sustainable products at a sustainable ROI, determining product priorities, and resource allocation to ensure efforts are focused on the most impactful work.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and partnerships to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Collaborate closely with Technology on the design of our data platform, and product design to transform customer and prospect needs into robust requirements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales and Client Success to help define our product voice, conducting market research to identify client needs, emerging trends and competitive landscapes.
  • Develop and deliver sales training, sales collateral, product collateral, and other product assets, including materials that position AI-enabled differentiation as a clear market advantage.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess product performance - e.g., MLR impact - and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify strategic areas of new investment and generate budget models for product expansion.

Position Requirements:
  • Based in Atlanta, GA.
  • 10+ years of experience in a product leadership role in the healthcare technology industry.
  • Experience in risk-based VBC and health plan contract management or analytics, with emphasis on affordability/MLR.
  • Expertise in growth strategy and data strategy, with working knowledge of modern AI/ML product frameworks and their impact on business performance.
  • Proven success designing and executing SaaS and/or PaaS product roadmaps.
  • Experience in advanced healthcare analytics including episodic grouping methodologies.
  • Proven ability to ship AI/ML-powered product features in healthcare, using machine learning, NLP, or automation to drive measurable outcomes.
  • Fluency in payer-provider interoperability, data exchange standards (HL7, FHIR), and familiarity with key ecosystem players (Epic, Redox, Availity).
  • Track record of navigating the intersection of clinical, operational, and financial data to build products that improve cost, quality, and scalability.
  • Strong experience articulating complex healthcare and AI concepts into compelling product narratives for customers, investors, and internal teams.
  • Demonstrates a founder's mindset, operating with ownership, clarity, and a focus on outcomes over activity.
  • Expertise in growth strategy and data strategy, with working knowledge of modern AI/ML product frameworks and their impact on business performance.
  • Experience hiring and managing product managers and directors, particularly in AI-augmented environments.
  • Ability to articulate a clear and reproducible prioritization process.
