Company Summary

EchoStar is reimagining the future of connectivity. Our business reach spans satellite television service, live-streaming and on-demand programming, smart home installation services, mobile plans and products.
Today, our brands include Boost Mobile, DISH TV, Gen Mobile, Hughes and Sling TV.

Department Summary

The Vice President of Partnerships will lead the development and execution of enterprise-level partnerships that accelerate direct-to-consumer growth, expand media and advertising monetization and unlock cross-brand synergies. This role sits at the intersection of distribution, media, connectivity, and customer acquisition—focused on creating differentiated go-to-market pathways and incremental revenue streams through strategic alliances.

The VP will serve as a senior advisor to the executive team, shaping partnership strategy that drives scale, customer reach, and long-term enterprise value for EchoStar.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and own a strategic partnerships roadmap aligned to company growth priorities, with a focus on direct-to-consumer channels, alternative distribution models, and media-driven revenue.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize partners that unlock new customer acquisition pathways, bundled offerings, and differentiated market access across connectivity, media, retail, and adjacent ecosystems.
  • Structure and negotiate complex partnership agreements that drive revenue growth, audience expansion, and brand leverage, including media, sponsorship, distribution, and co-marketing arrangements.
  • Build partnerships that maximize the value of media assets, including advertising, sponsorships, content integrations, and audience monetization.
  • Create and scale synergistic partnerships with Boost, aligning offers, channels, and partnerships to drive shared customer growth and lifecycle value.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, network, finance, and legal teams to ensure partnerships are executable, scalable, and commercially sound.
  • Manage and deepen existing partner relationships, identifying opportunities to expand scope, improve economics, and deliver incremental value for both parties.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and consumer behavior to continuously refine partnership strategy and uncover emerging growth opportunities.
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure customer acquisition impact, revenue contribution, and return on partnership investment.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing partnerships organization, setting a culture of accountability, creativity, and commercial rigor.

Skills, Experience and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, media sales, distribution, or go-to-market leadership, ideally within telecommunications, media, wireless, or consumer services.
  • Proven ability to design and execute partnerships that drive direct-to-consumer growth, monetization, and market expansion.
  • Strong commercial instincts with demonstrated success negotiating complex, high-value partnership and media agreements.
  • Deep understanding of consumer acquisition models, distribution strategy, and brand-led growth.
  • Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset with a track record of turning market insight into scalable partnership models.
  • Demonstrated experience building and leading high-impact teams.
