The Vice President of Business Development is a senior executive responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening ECW's customer portfolio across warehousing, transportation, drayage, and value-added logistics services. This role leads the company's commercial growth strategy, overseeing new business acquisition, strategic account development, market expansion, and long-term customer partnerships. The VP will work cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure growth initiatives are scalable, profitable, and aligned with ECW's operational capabilities.

Develop and execute ECW's business development strategy to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and long-term profitability.

Identify and secure new business opportunities across warehousing, temperature-controlled logistics, port services, drayage, and integrated 3PL solutions.

Lead complex sales pursuits, including RFPs/RFQs, pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and deal execution.

Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, partners, and key industry stakeholders.

Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure solutions are scalable, operationally sound, and financially aligned.

Oversee customer onboarding and ensure seamless transition from sales to operations.

Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing business development and sales organization.

Own revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and performance metrics to ensure growth targets are met.

Support market entry, facility launches, and new service offerings across ECW's network.

Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred. 1215+ years of progressive business development or commercial leadership experience within 3PL, warehousing, transportation, or port logistics. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and winning complex logistics solutions. Experience selling temperature-controlled warehousing, port-centric logistics, drayage, or integrated supply chain solutions. Strong understanding of pricing models, contract structures, and margin management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence. Experience working in multi-site, fast-growing logistics environments.
