Position Overview:
We are looking for a remarkable VP, Process & Systems Development professional who can drive delivery of solutions aligned with business objectives and technology roadmap. The successful candidate will be instrumental in rationalizing and realigning existing services and systems. This is a high profile role with the opportunity to substantially shape the future direction and success of the business.
The VP, Process & Systems Development professional is hands-on responsible for the on scope, on time, and on budget development and delivery of comprehensive technical and operational capabilities, including business requirements definition, driving cohesive CRM and ERP solutions, creation and management of delivery projects as well as alignment of resources. The role requires adherence to Agile development methodology, project management, and change management processes, strong communication skills, and implementation of project-based governance and controls.
Responsibilities:
  • Translate customer needs, as defined by stakeholder requests, into detailed business requirements and business use cases.
  • Work with internal stakeholder organizations to evaluate investment objectives, benefits identify project impacts, and prioritize against corporate goals.
  • Product Owner role on an Agile Development team conveying and prioritizing and above defined needs.
  • Define the scope of the project and gain agreement from all stakeholders that this fulfills the business needs.
  • Provide Development cost estimates for business case evaluations.
  • Work cooperatively with Commercial Services, Finance, Engineering, Construction on the solutions design.
  • Administration and configuration of a CRM & ERP platform.
  • Single point of contact for all issues related to the ongoing administration of the system including upgrades and conversions.
  • Maturity and leadership experience to direct cross functional teams.
  • Ability to work on fast-paced, complex projects with tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work from program objectives to proactively identify and engage appropriate resources needed to achieve these objectives.
  • Ability to handle high profile projects with heavy stakeholders interaction.

Required Traits, Expertise, and Skills:
  • Maturity and leadership experience to direct cross functional teams.
  • Ability to work on fast-paced, complex projects with tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work from program objectives to proactively identify and engage appropriate resources needed to achieve these objectives.

  • Telecommunications and Colocation Engineering or Operations experience

  • PMI / Six Sigma Project Management
  • Large, complex program management experience.
  • Process Architecture, UML or similar business process modeling
  • Design for Six Sigma / Six Sigma DMAIC methodology
  • Experience with RUP and BPM tools (Rational Rose, Tibco Business, ARIS, use case, data models, etc.)

Expected Salary Range: $240,000 to $270,000 Base Salary + Discretionary Bonus
