Opportunity

The Vice President of Information Technology will be the strategic executive leader responsible for defining and executing the global IT vision. The role ensures information technology, digital capabilities, and data strategy align with business objectives, enabling growth, innovation, and operational excellence within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enterprise Technology Strategy: Define and execute an enterprise-wide IT and digital strategy; align technology investments with corporate priorities; advise the Company and Board on technology trends, risks, and opportunities; lead digital transformation initiatives.
  • Business Partnership & Transformation: Serve as strategic partner to Commercial, R&D, Quality, Operations, and Finance leaders; identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve revenue growth, product innovation and development cycles, and operational efficiency.
  • Data, Analytics & AI: Own enterprise data strategy, governance, and architecture; enable advanced analytics, business intelligence, and AI/ML capabilities; ensure high-quality, trusted data across clinical, commercial, and operational domains.
  • Cybersecurity & Risk Management: Establish and maintain a robust cybersecurity program; oversee enterprise risk management; maintain business continuity and disaster recovery; report risk posture to executive leadership and the Board.
  • Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure all IT systems meet FDA, HIPAA, GDPR, and other data privacy regulations; partner with Quality and Regulatory teams on computer system validation, audit readiness, and maintaining inspection-ready documentation.
  • Financial & Vendor Management: Own the global IT budget; manage vendor partnerships and technology ecosystems; negotiate enterprise-wide contracts and services.
  • Leadership & Organizational Development: Build and lead a high-performing IT organization; develop leadership bench strength; foster innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including executive-level roles.
  • Experience as VP or senior IT leader in medical device, life sciences, or regulated industries.
  • Proven success partnering with executive teams and boards; experience in leading digital transformation and scaling IT globally.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, QMS, PLM); experience in SOX controls; understanding of cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and modern data architecture.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence at the Board and C-suite level; strategic thinking with strong business acumen.
  • Track record of leading through complexity and change; collaborative, partnership mindset across functions.
  • Success metrics: alignment of IT strategy with business outcomes, cybersecurity posture, audit readiness, ROI on technology investments, stakeholder satisfaction.
Pay Range

$280,590 to $330,105
