Vice President of Marketing

Altura Credit Union

Riverside, CA

Position Description

VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING
Altura Credit Union
$2.67B Assets
Riverside, California

What if marketing was measured not only by awareness but by its direct impact on growth, member engagement, and organizational performance?

At Altura Credit Union, marketing plays a critical role in helping the organization attract new members, deepen existing relationships, and strengthen its position in the communities it serves. That is why Altura is looking for a strategic Vice President of Marketing to lead marketing performance, brand awareness, member acquisition, and digital engagement initiatives across the organization.

Reporting to the SVP, Chief Marketing Officer, this leader will be responsible for translating marketing strategy into measurable results through effective use of analytics, technology, digital marketing, and cross-functional collaboration. The role will focus on driving growth, optimizing marketing investments, strengthening brand relevance, and ensuring marketing efforts support Altura's long-term strategic objectives.

The ideal leader brings both strategic vision and operational discipline, with the ability to leverage data, develop high-performing teams, embrace emerging technologies, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

What Altura Is Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Finance, or a related field required; Master's degree or advanced business education preferred.
  • Eight or more years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including strategic planning, budget management, performance measurement, and team leadership.
  • Experience leading marketing strategy and execution within a financial institution, fintech, or other consumer-focused organization preferred.
  • Strong expertise in brand management, member acquisition, digital marketing, performance analytics, and marketing ROI.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data, consumer insights, profitability information, and market intelligence to drive growth and inform decision-making.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies, artificial intelligence applications, and evolving digital search environments.
  • Proven success in developing high-performing teams, influencing across an organization, and balancing long-term brand development with measurable business results.
Why This Role Matters

Marketing is a key driver of how Altura builds relationships with current and future members. Whether introducing new products, strengthening brand awareness, supporting community engagement, or leveraging technology to create more meaningful member experiences, this leader will help shape how Altura grows and serves its membership in the years ahead.

This is a role for someone who wants to do more than manage marketing campaigns. It is for a leader who wants to influence strategy, leverage innovation, build organizational capability, and create measurable impact.

Compensation: $146,989.80 - $187,737.25 per year
