Job description

ABOUT EXECUTIVE OPTION

Executive Option is an independent, vendor-neutral advisory and consulting firm helping public-sector agencies, regulated organizations, and complex enterprises plan, implement, strengthen, optimize, and recover critical business, technology, and operational initiatives.

For more than 28 years, Executive Option has supported organizations across executive advisory, business and operational transformation, enterprise applications, artificial intelligence and data, cybersecurity and resilience, program and project leadership, infrastructure, managed services, and professional workforce solutions.

Executive Option is a veteran- and minority-owned firm headquartered in Henderson, Nevada. Our work is grounded in independence, accountability, practical execution, and a commitment to acting in the client's best interests.

POSITION SUMMARY

Executive Option is seeking an accomplished professional-services growth leader to serve as Vice President, Global Client Development & Strategic Alliances.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this position will lead client development, strategic partnerships, and profitable revenue growth across Executive Option's advisory, transformation, enterprise technology, cybersecurity, data and AI, program leadership, managed services, and workforce capabilities.

This is a hands-on growth role. The successful candidate will be expected to personally originate opportunities, establish executive relationships, guide complex pursuits, develop strategic alliances, and remain accountable for qualified pipeline, closed business, and successful transition into delivery.

The position is designed for an experienced leader who understands how to sell complex consulting and professional services-not simply products, licenses, or transactional staffing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute a national and selective international client-development strategy aligned with Executive Option's growth priorities.

Personally originate, qualify, shape, and close complex advisory, consulting, technology, managed-services, and professional-services engagements.

Establish and expand relationships with C-suite executives, public-sector leaders, boards, procurement stakeholders, operational leaders, and technology decision-makers.

Lead discovery, opportunity qualification, solution positioning, pursuit strategy, executive presentations, proposals, pricing, negotiation, and contracting support.

Build productive alliances with technology providers, implementation firms, industry organizations, public-sector partners, and complementary professional-services companies.

Identify opportunities across Executive Option's service portfolio, including executive advisory, business transformation, ERP and HCM, cybersecurity, data and AI, program recovery, infrastructure, managed services, and workforce solutions.

Maintain complete and accurate CRM records, including opportunity stages, estimated value, probability, next actions, decision-makers, risks, forecasts, and anticipated close dates.

Collaborate with executive leadership, subject-matter experts, and delivery teams to develop credible solutions, pricing, staffing models, and implementation approaches.

Coordinate the transition of new engagements from business development through contracting, mobilization, and delivery.

Represent Executive Option professionally in executive meetings, industry events, strategic-partner discussions, and selected community or business-development activities.

Protect the firm's reputation, commercial interests, delivery standards, and commitment to ethical and responsible client service.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

At least 12 years of relevant experience in consulting, professional services, enterprise technology, managed services, or complex business-to-business solutions.

Demonstrated success personally originating and closing complex consulting or professional-services engagements.

Evidence of generating at least $3 million in annual personally originated professional-services revenue, or an equivalent level of attributable gross profit.

Experience selling one or more of the following: enterprise transformation, ERP, HCM, payroll, financial systems, cybersecurity, data and artificial intelligence, program leadership, managed services, or professional workforce solutions.

Demonstrated ability to establish trusted relationships with senior executives and guide opportunities through lengthy, multi-stakeholder buying processes.

Experience developing or expanding strategic alliances that produced measurable pipeline, revenue, or market access.

Strong executive communication, commercial judgment, negotiation, presentation, and consultative-selling capabilities.

Experience preparing or leading proposals, pricing strategies, executive presentations, statements of work, and contract negotiations.

Consistent CRM discipline and experience managing structured pipeline, forecasting, opportunity qualification, and performance-reporting processes.

Ability to work effectively with executive leadership, delivery professionals, technical specialists, partners, and clients.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Authorization to work in the United States.

Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally as business requirements dictate.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience selling services to public-sector agencies, regulated organizations, or large complex enterprises.

Understanding of government procurement, competitive solicitations, cooperative contracts, or public-sector purchasing processes.

Established executive and partner relationships within Executive Option's priority markets or industries.

Experience helping a specialized consulting firm expand into new accounts, markets, services, or strategic partnerships.

Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday, SAP, Microsoft, NetSuite, or comparable systems.

Experience working across multiple industries, geographies, or international markets.

PERFORMANCE PRIORITIES

Success in this position will be evaluated based on measurable contributions that may include:

Development of a qualified pipeline aligned with Executive Option's target clients and service capabilities.

Personally originated revenue, collected gross profit, and profitable growth.

New executive-level client relationships and strategic account expansion.

Productive alliances that generate measurable opportunities and business.

Credible forecasting, complete CRM documentation, and consistent pursuit discipline.

Strong coordination between business development, contracting, mobilization, and delivery.

Protection of client relationships, delivery quality, commercial integrity, and Executive Option's reputation.

WORK ARRANGEMENT AND TRAVEL

Executive Option is headquartered in Henderson, Nevada, and preference may be given to candidates who can work in a hybrid capacity from the Las Vegas-Henderson area.

A flexible U.S.-based arrangement may be considered for an exceptional candidate with a demonstrated record of success, strong market relationships, and the ability to remain closely connected to Executive Option's leadership and delivery teams.

National and international travel will be required based on client, partner, and business-development needs.

COMPENSATION

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $135,000-$155,000, depending on qualifications, experience, location, and demonstrated performance history.

Target on-target earnings are approximately $215,000-$275,000 at target performance. Above-quota earnings are uncapped and will be governed by the applicable incentive-compensation plan.

Variable compensation may be based on collected gross profit, personally originated revenue, strategic performance measures, and other approved criteria.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must submit a complete application through Executive Option's official online application portal.

The application will request:

Resume
LinkedIn profile
Work authorization and travel availability
Examples of personally originated consulting or professional-services engagements
Contract values and measurable results
Three-year quota and attainment history
Strategic-alliance experience
Relevant consulting and technology-services experience
Initial priorities for the first 90 days

A resume without the required role-specific responses may not provide sufficient information for consideration.

Candidates selected for further consideration will be contacted directly regarding interviews and next steps. Executive Option is not accepting unsolicited submissions from staffing agencies or third-party recruiters for this position.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY

Executive Option is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and maintaining a professional environment where individuals are treated with dignity and respect.

Employment decisions are based on business needs, position requirements, qualifications, experience, and demonstrated ability, consistent with applicable law. Reasonable accommodations may be available for qualified individuals during the application and employment process.
