(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Nurse Practitioner - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Columbia, Missouri (New|Recent Graduates Considered) Currently seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join a well-respected anesthesia group in Columbia, MO. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). The CRNA will work on General, Orthopedic, OB, Dental, and Vascular Surgery, no trauma or neurosurgery. Medical Supervision model and cover General, Ortho, OB, ENT, Dental, GI and Vascular cases. CRNAs work 2, 12 hour and 2, 8 hour shifts per week with a week of 10's occasionally. Responsibilities of the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists - CRNA • Select and prescribe post-anesthesia medications or treatments to patients. • Administer post-anesthesia medications or fluids to support patients' cardiovascular systems. • Evaluate patients' post-surgical or post-anesthesia responses, taking appropriate corrective actions or requesting consultation if complications occur. • Perform pre-anesthetic screenings, including physical evaluations and patient interviews and document results. • Select, order or administer pre-anesthetic medications. Requirements of the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists - CRNA • Bachelor's degree and current APRN licensure and registration • 1 year of CRNA experience (New Graduate CRNA Considered) • Certified as a Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). • Excellent clinical, organization and communication skills coupled with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment • Experience in epidurals and blocks, moderate sedation, general and local anesthetic and analgesic techniques • Current BLS, ACLS, & PALS|APLS certifications • Experience in patient care setting Compensation of the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists - CRNA Salary: $188,000.00 plus annual performance review Employee shall participate in Employer's Employee Bonus Program. In addition to the base annual salary Employee shall receive overtime and call compensation as follows: Any hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week shall be considered overtime. Overtime pay shall be at the rate of $134 per hour range. Saturday and Sunday call pay shall be at the rate of $536 for each day, which includes up to being on site and rendering services up to 4 hours per day. Each hour in excess of 4 per day for which Employee is on site rendering services shall be compensated at the rate of $134 per hour. Full benefits package including Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K with Match, Generous PTO (8 weeks), STD, LTD, Malpractice Coverage at 100% and all dues fees and license re-certification paid for by the practice.
