Job description

We're looking for a VP, DSP Partnerships to own one of the most critical relationships in our business: how TripleLift connects with the DSPs that drive liquidity across our exchange. Reporting to the COO, you'll lead the strategy and team behind our global DSP and marketplace partnerships.

You'll manage a high-performing team that sits between the revenue and R&D organizations that evaluates market opportunities, signs new integrations, grows and manages existing partnerships that drive liquidity for our publishers and revenue for our exchange business. 

The ideal VP, DSP Partnerships is forward-thinking and leverages creative problem-solving skills to uncover and develop new ideas and revenue opportunities for the organization. You are a strong people leader and relationship builder who regularly attends sales meetings and industry events to mentor your team and deepen existing relationships. 

Responsibilities

Relationship Management:

  • Build and negotiate strong, long-term relationships with key DSP decision-makers, securing strategic partnerships that maximize revenue opportunities
  • Identify and close strategic upsell opportunities by understanding core client business needs, and uplevel senior connections to develop new strategic opportunities
  • Lead the team in developing collaborative Partner Business Plans that showcase TripleLift's value proposition, including account plans, Share of Wallet tracking, and regular business reviews (QBRs) to achieve mutual objectives

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of DSP business managers, and oversee the Engagement team dedicated to fostering a healthy marketplace with each DSP
  • Own team revenue numbers and reporting; set annual, quarterly, and short-term goals and performance metrics aligned with corporate objectives
  • Analyze trends and leverage insights to ensure goals are met, escalating needs to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Ensure the team maintains a deep understanding of the programmatic landscape and emerging trends
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to craft GTM strategies for new offerings to DSPs

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in partnership management within the advertising technology industry
  • 7+ years of programmatic experience working with DSPs, SSPs, exchanges, or related technology, including display, CTV, audio, and video buying
  • Proven track record building and managing high-impact DSP partnerships, with a consultative, results-driven approach to relationship-building and negotiation
  • People management experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a high-performing, collaborative team
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset, with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Forward-thinking and curious, with strong creative problem-solving skills to uncover new revenue opportunities
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
