Job description

We're looking for people who put their innovation to work to advance our success - and their own. Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.

The Vice President, Global Services for Systems Protection leads the global strategy, growth, and execution of services and aftermarket businesses. This role owns the full post‑sales lifecycle including services, maintenance, installation, upgrades, and spare parts with full P&L accountability.

The Vice President will scale a high‑margin, recurring revenue business that supports mission‑critical environments such as data centers and industrial automation. Success requires deep operational leadership, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to align global strategy with regional execution.

The Vice President of Global Services is a segment level leader responsible for building and scaling a global services and aftermarket business supporting mission‑critical data center and industrial cooling infrastructure worldwide. This role has full strategic, operational, and P&L accountability for the post‑sales lifecycle across a large and growing global installed base.

Responsibilities
  • Define and execute a multi‑year global growth strategy to expand services and aftermarket revenue, margin, and customer lifetime value.
  • Own the end‑to‑end post‑sales experience (excluding customer care) with full P&L responsibility.
  • Identify new market opportunities driven by data center growth, electrification, automation, and sustainability mandate.
  • Lead a comprehensive global service and aftermarket portfolio, including:
    • Commissioning and installation support
    • Preventive, predictive, and condition‑based maintenance
    • Spare parts, repairs, rebuilds, and upgrades
    • Digital, connected, and subscription‑based services
    • Performance optimization, energy efficiency, and lifestyle modernization
  • Drive service attachment, long‑term service agreements (LTSA), and outcome‑based service models.
  • Champion continuous improvement across field operation, tooling, diagnostics, and talent capability.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Care to align strategy and execution.
  • Translate customer uptime, sustainability, and performance optimization objectives into differentiated service offering.
  • Build and lead a global services organization with expertise in data center thermal systems, industrial cooling, and controls and digital diagnostics.
  • Develop globally consistent capabilities while enabling regional agility.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field required.
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in global services, aftermarket, or industrial businesses. Experience in the data center or HVAC industry preferred.
  • Proven success scaling service or aftermarket P&L within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong strategic, financial, and operational leadership skills.
  • Salesforce.com experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn, adopt and leverage emerging technologies and digital tools to improve business performance and accelerate decision‑making.
  • Experience with connected products, predictive maintenance, or subscription‑based services preferred.
  • Willingness to travel globally, up to 40%.
