CORMAC is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Proposal Specialist to support the companyโ€™s proposal development activities and related revenue growth.

Working directly under veteran proposal subject matter experts, you will learn to distill complex technical domains into clear, compelling, and compliant narrative frameworks that win United States federal government business. This role is designed for a high-velocity learner who is dedicated to team success and thrives on smart work, intellectual rigor, and the pursuit of excellence in all work products delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and execute standardized approaches and processes to build repeatable, efficient proposal artifacts in response to federal RFIs, RFPs, and other solicitation types.
  • Act as team coordinator facilitating cross-functional team productivity (technical, contracts, finance), tracking proposal schedules, actions, and compliance matrices to maximize collective output.
  • Develop content. Ingest, transform, and format complex inputs, including past performance, resumes, and corporate capabilities, utilizing advanced AI prompting and traditional desktop publishing tools.
  • Support tailored responses across differing solicitation types, from market research and problem exploration (RFIs) to complex task order, single-award, and IDIQ vehicle proposals (RFPs).
  • Facilitate rigorous governance and quality control through proposal reviews (Pink/Red Teams).
  • Review content for compliance and rhetorical alignment. Maintain knowledge management repositories with meticulous attention to detail.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, backed by a sterling academic record.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
  • Exceptional written and verbal capabilities, with a natural affinity for active, succinct, and impactful prose and the ability to communicate meaningfully with seasoned professionals.
  • Extreme attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and an unwavering commitment to meeting tight deadlines independently with high-quality work products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office formatting and an advanced capability in AI prompting to ingest, manipulate, and output knowledge.
  • A true desire to learn federal procurement frameworks, federal regulations, and technical domains as a staging ground for functional leadership consideration.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience related to proposal writing, technical writing, or government contracting
  • Familiarity with federal procurement (RFP/RFI process)
