What is a Via driver?

Via drivers are independent contractors who use the Via platform to provide ridesharing services to passengers. They operate in various cities where Via is available, using their own vehicles to pick up and drop off riders along shared routes. Via drivers are responsible for ensuring passenger safety, navigating efficient routes, and delivering a high standard of customer service. They typically set their own schedules and can work part-time or full-time depending on their availability. Payment is processed through the Via app, and drivers are compensated based on the number of rides completed and any applicable bonuses.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a Via driver?

To thrive as a Via Driver, you need a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and strong knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations. Excellent customer service, punctuality, and problem-solving skills set top drivers apart. These competencies ensure efficient, safe transportation and positive rider experiences, which are crucial for the role’s success.
