Job description

Network Deployment Engineer
Remote
Must be available to travel to deploy network infrastructure at USCIS locations
US Citizenship is required per government contract
Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance (6-8 week process)

System One is seeking a Network Deployment Engineer. As a team member, you will be a part of the team that is responsible for deployments in existing, new, and expanding the facilities.
The Contractor shall perform the following:
• Deploy network infrastructure and commodities in support of components, such as, but not limited to:
o Routers
o Switches
o Firewalls
o load balancers
o WAN optimizers
o Uninterrupted Power
o Encryptors
o Power Distribution Units
o wireless and mobile network kits containing multi-disciplined technologies.
• Perform wireless site surveys pre and post deployment.
• Deploy physical access control systems.
• Install software, such as but not limited to:
o Cisco IOS/NOS
o Riverbed RIOS
o Big IP to ensure devices meet compliance
• Assist in planning for the future strategy of networks and provide budgetary information as needed.
• Embrace and work towards automated and orchestrated delivery methodologies.
• Perform root-cause analysis, identify, and perform corrective actions.
• Interface with Local Exchange Carriers and telecom providers regarding installation, testing and troubleshooting during deployments.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve complex problems with data infrastructure as the new deployment occurs.
• Implement network solutions in Branch Sites of various sizes and degrees of complexity.
• Conduct wireless survey reports, as needed.
• Maintain documentation related to wired and wireless network layout.
• Implement Wi-Fi configurations and templates for WLAN networks.
• Plan, design, implement, and validate new Wi-Fi networks and wired Cisco, Meraki networks.
