The anticipated starting base salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $220,000 to $280,000 per year. 

In your day-to-day, you will:

Provide advanced medical and interventional cardiology care, diagnosing and managing a broad range of complex cardiac conditions in both outpatient and hospitalized patients.
Perform and interpret echocardiograms, thoracic radiographs, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and Holter or telemetry monitoring to guide patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
Collaborate closely with Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Emergency & Critical Care, and other specialty services to deliver comprehensive multidisciplinary patient care.
Assist in the intake, evaluation, and ongoing management of hospitalized cardiology patients while supporting continuity of care across specialties.
Accept and manage both community referral cases and internal specialty referrals, building strong relationships with referring veterinarians and hospital colleagues.
Create individualized treatment plans and guide pet owners through cardiac diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term management strategies with empathy, clarity, and confidence.
Facilitate in-house specialty consultations and provide expert cardiovascular support to Emergency and Critical Care teams as needed.
Maintain thorough and accurate medical records while ensuring timely communication with clients and referral partners.
Participate in collaborative rounds, case discussions, educational initiatives, and mentoring opportunities that contribute to ongoing professional growth and clinical excellence.
Contribute to a hospital culture centered on learning, collaboration, innovation, and exceptional patient outcomes.

What You Bring

DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
Board Certification in Cardiology (DACVIM-Cardiology) or Residency Trained/Board Eligible in Cardiology.
Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
