BoosterPet Licensed Veterinary Technicians Wanted!

BoosterPet is looking for passionate and experienced Licensed Veterinary Technicians to share our vision of providing healthy work spaces. We are looking for LVT's that are self-motivated, driven to succeed and are passionate about elevating veterinary medicine through collaboration, innovation, and providing excellent service.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Play an active role in the BoosterPet medical team to provide quality medical care, model BoosterPet's core values
  • Ability to complete physical exams, triage and complete vitals on behalf of our DVMs
  • Be tech savvy
  • Support BoosterPet urgent care services and telemed wellness as needed
  • Complete detailed medical records with through medical history. Ensure medical records are accurate within the practice management system
  • Educate animal owners
  • Liaising with veterinarians and veterinary assistants to ensure continuity of patient care
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure safety of pets, clients, and team members
  • Administering medications and treatments prescribed by a veterinarian
  • Obtains and verifies medications
  • Performing phlebotomy duties, and providing intramuscular (IM), intravenous (IV) and subcutaneous (SQ) injections
  • Restrain pets in a manner that allows necessary work to be performed, minimizes stress to pets, and ensures the safety of pets and people
  • Assist at front desk/kiosk and greet clients/patients upon entry
  • Answer phones and make appointments as needed
  • Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging
  • Administering first aid for emergencies
  • Knowledge with the RECOVER guidelines
  • Induce/monitor and recover anesthetic patients
  • Complete regional anesthesia when needed
  • Maintains safe, secure, healthy, and humane environment by sterilizing and wrapping instruments, sanitizing operating areas, verifying shelf life of medications, maintaining equipment and complying with legal regulations

Requirements:

Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure in Washington You are willing to go with the flow to help a growing company succeed in both conventional and novel ways.
