In your day to day, you will:

Provide advanced neurological care and management for complex veterinary patients
Diagnose and treat a broad range of neurological conditions in collaboration with the Neurology team and other specialists
Help grow IndyVet's Neurology service alongside the existing Veterinary Neurologist
Collaborate with specialists and ER clinicians through daily case discussions and cross departmental problem solving
Utilize advanced diagnostic capabilities, including on site MRI, to support comprehensive neurological workups
Mentor technicians and support team members as part of daily case management
Participate in teaching, consultation, and knowledge sharing within the hospital
Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care
Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations
Contribute to a positive, team focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning

What You Bring

DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Indiana veterinary licensure
Board Certification in Veterinary Neurology or residency training in Veterinary Neurology
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with experience managing complex neurological cases
Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and client centered approach
A commitment to exceptional patient care and compassionate client service
A passion for mentorship, continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine
An interest in building and growing a Neurology service in partnership with an experienced colleague
A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to a transparent, supportive hospital culture
