You'll be the compassionate bridge between our clients and their beloved pets' care, guiding pet parents through appointments, answering questions, and ensuring smooth operations at our reception area. This role combines your people skills, organizational abilities, and genuine love for animals to help us deliver exceptional veterinary care.
What Success Looks Like
  • Creating Exceptional First Impressions: You'll warmly greet clients and their pets, making them feel welcome and valued from the moment they contact our practice.

  • Appointment Wizard: You'll masterfully schedule, confirm, and manage appointments while efficiently handling check-ins and check-outs with proper documentation.
  • Team Coordination: You'll promptly alert appropriate departments when patients arrive, distribute daily schedules, and ensure patient files are properly prepared and updated.
  • Professional Environment: You'll maintain an inviting, clean, and organized reception area that helps create a positive experience for clients and their pets.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Ability to multi-task and attend to multi-line phone systems and veterinary programs
  • Proficient in handling high volume, high stress cases while maintaining professionalism
  • Efficiently optimize clinic workflow through strategic appointment scheduling and proactive confirmation calls
  • Maintaining any required documents or medical records
  • Upholding rigorous hospital standards for cleanliness and organization
  • Accurately handle deposits and financial transactions from clients
  • Accurately educate clients on veterinary services and best practices for animal care

  • 1+ years of customer service experience in an animal hospital
  • Experience with veterinary programs
  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology and protocols
  • Manage cash handling and financial transactions

How We'll Support You
  • Competitive Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance, plus 401k with company match
  • Growth Opportunities: Continuing education and professional development support
  • Work-Life Balance: PTO and mental health assistance
  • Perks: Employee discounts on services, a scrub allowance, and a referral program
  • A Welcoming Team: We're a hard-working and collaborative team where your voice matters!
