Job description

Program Coordinator โ€“ CDCPosition Status: Contingent upon contract award.Position Summary

Coordinate recipient-facing technical assistance, training, meetings, learning activities, stakeholder communications, schedules, and documentation across assigned DNPAO initiatives. This role will coordinate recipient-facing technical assistance, learning communities, webinars, office hours, partner calls, site visits, trainings, and recurring deliverables across DNPAO programs. The coordinator will connect CDC staff, project officers, recipients, subject matter experts, facilitators, and partner organizations while maintaining accurate calendars, rosters, resource repositories, participation records, and follow-up actions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate calendars, webinars, workgroups, office hours, trainings, site visits, and technical-assistance activities.
  • Manage participant communications, rosters, schedules, materials, and follow-up actions.
  • Connect CDC staff, recipients, subject matter experts, facilitators, and partner organizations.
  • Prepare agendas, notes, summaries, activity reports, and participant-facing communications.
  • Maintain resource repositories, contact lists, participation records, and technical-assistance documentation.
  • Identify coordination risks, resolve routine issues, and upscale concerns promptly.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience coordinating public health, healthcare, training, technical-assistance, grants, cooperative-agreement, or professional-services activities. Experience managing recurring meetings, recipient communications, multi-party schedules, learning events, resource libraries, action items, and reporting is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, timely, and high-quality work in a multidisciplinary, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, organization, judgment, and client-service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting CDC, HHS, another federal health agency, a public health recipient network, or a comparable mission-focused organization.
