Job description

Overview
Calling all skilled veterinary technicians: Are you ready for a role where your talents won't just be appreciated-they'll be relied on? SIGN ON Bonus and relocation support available!
At North Elm Animal Hospital, we do things differently. We're a technician-forward, medically autonomous hospital that truly believes in the power of a strong tech team. Our doctors trust our technicians. They empower them to work at the top of their license-and then some.
We're looking for a Credentialed Veterinary Technician who's not afraid to lead the charge, think critically, and take initiative.
Why you'll love us:

  • Empowering Technicians - Our techs are trusted professionals, not micromanaged. You'll have a voice in hospital decisions and medical protocols-and we actually listen.
  • Team-First Environment - Join a kind, collaborative team that supports each other, celebrates wins, and shows up with respect every day. We believe in growing together.
  • Diverse, Hands-On Medicine - From wellness care and diagnostics to surgery and dentistry, you'll put your skills to work and keep learning every shift.
You are...
  • A Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) with strong surgical and leadership experience.
  • Skilled in patient care, communication, and teamwork.
  • Highly organized, dependable, and compassionate.
  • Maintain accurate veterinary medical records and client communication.
  • Eager to be part of a fast-paced, community-focused veterinary hospital.
What You'll Be Doing:
In this role, you won't be stuck in the back doing basic restraint-you'll be in the heart of the action:
  • Assisting in surgical procedures and monitoring anesthesia.
  • Leading by example to mentor and train junior staff.
  • Participating in patient care planning, supporting diagnostics, and treatments.
What's in it for you?
  • Competitive pay, based on experience
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance (some plans include free outpatient mental health care)
  • Generous CE allowance + paid CE time
  • Uniform allowance
  • Pet care discounts for your personal pets
  • PTO, floating holidays, parental leave, and military leave
  • A robust Employee Assistance Program (from finances to wellness and everything in between)
  • Access to Encore Vet Group's library of training, CE, and career development resources
  • A 401(k) with up to 5% company match
