Job description

As a leader in the Direct Mail/print industry, Moore-Tulsa is looking for qualified and talented individuals to grow our highly recognized, award-winning team. We are currently looking for a Weight Verification Clerk to join our Team!
Moore Tulsa is currently looking for a Weigh Verification Clerk for "D" night shift 5pm-5am 3/4 4/3 schedule. The weigh verification will verify and process pallets coming out of UP and Production and prepare them for USPS acceptance.

Required Job Duties:
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency that meet or exceed production goals that are set by the supervisor/lead on a daily basis
  • Bring mechanical or software issues to the immediate attention of the Weigh Verification Lead
  • Train and become proficient with all systems used in the WV area, including WB Scan, PAT and the wrapping stations.
  • Process presorted pallets in the PAT system correctly, verifying counts are within USPS tolerance prior to finalizing.
  • Properly scan barcodes and print USPS 99M tags and R1 PAT tags to correctly label verified pallets before releasing them to the expeditors for staging.
  • Confirm pallets brought to the WV area from Production and UP are stacked per USPS regulations
  • Safely operate a pallet jack
  • Communicate with supervisors/managers from other departments as needed
  • Be aware of job board and assure continuous verification of mail. Notify manager of issues in the process
  • Understand the Quality Control policy completely and makes few errors
  • Actively participates in the continuous improvement process for quality control, productivity, and operating procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment/monitor work are
  • Consistent and Reliable attendance is mandator
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Adhere to the Resource One Safety policies, including cell phone and ear bud usage

Desired Skills & Abilities:
  • Forklift training and license (we will provide)
  • Power Jack training and license (we will provide)
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Be able to stand on your feet for extended periods
  • Ability to read and recognize numbers will be essential
  • Flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Previous mailshop experience is a plus
  • Previous power equipment experience is a plus

Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.
