Verification Validation information

What is the difference between Verification Validation vs Quality Assurance Specialist?

AspectVerification ValidationQuality Assurance Specialist
Primary FocusEnsuring products meet specifications and design requirementsOverseeing processes to maintain quality standards
ActivitiesDesign reviews, testing, inspectionsProcess audits, compliance checks, documentation
CertificationsOften requires engineering or technical certificationsQuality management certifications like CQE or ASQ
Work EnvironmentProduct development, manufacturing, engineering labsManufacturing plants, quality departments, audits

Verification Validation focuses on confirming that a product meets its design specifications through testing and inspections. Quality Assurance Specialists oversee the overall quality processes, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. While both roles aim to ensure product quality, Verification Validation is more technical and product-specific, whereas Quality Assurance is process-oriented and broader in scope.
