The Software Engineer (SMTS) develops high performance solutions for resource constrained targets. Develops next-generation resilient and fault tolerant software solutions in the application domains of undersea, terrestrial, air, hypersonics and space. Duties/Responsibilities

โ€ข Develops embedded software based on prototype algorithms with supervision.

Need for a "systems" thinker with experience in design, development, or I&T of safety critical systems to coordinate V&V guidance system software. Lead the technical effort of independently verifying and validating safety critical software. Must understand V&V process and how it fits into system lifecycle. Staff must be able to independently interpret changes to ConOps and System designs and map these to expected software changes to verify. Must be able to create test plans, requirement verification Test Matrices (RVTMs) and mentor junior staff. Must be able to identify alternative methods of verification and prioritize efforts based on cost, schedule, risk, and availability of test facilities.
Nice to have skills are C, Python, Matlab, Simulink, PowerPC assembly, SIMICs, CI/CD.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is
$75,000.00 - $245,000.00
