Job description

Our client is seeking a passionate and self-motivated individual to join a growing investment team. The team focuses on investments in AI-enabled infrastructure, data platforms, workflow automation, digital risk models, and next-generation systems that modernize care delivery, underwriting, claims, and regulatory compliance.

This role offers tremendous growth opportunities and exposure across the entire investment lifecycle. They are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and excited to contribute to the team's growth.

Responsibilities

  • Source potential investment opportunities

  • Perform financial modeling and analysis of growth and venture-stage companies

  • Conduct investment due diligence on companies at all stages and support investment committee presentations

  • Record all deal information for reporting and trend analysis

  • Research and report on industry trends and potential new business models

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key industry contacts, including limited partners

Assist in all aspects of portfolio company management, including exposure to roles on portfolio company boards


Experience

  • Experience in venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, or a related field

  • Experience with financial modeling and analysis

  • Familiarity with SaaS economics (ARR, NRR, CAC/LTV)

  • Familiarity with AI/ML platforms and data infrastructure

  • Familiarity with healthcare and insurance regulatory environments a plus

  • Ability to assess product defensibility and technical architecture

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and network within healthcare, insurance, and venture capital communities

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation

  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to ask challenging questions within complex domains, including comfort with technical due diligence

  • Track record of strong judgment and ability to navigate ambiguity

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
