Why This Role Matters
As a Behavioral Health Staff member, you'll play a critical role in supporting individuals in their homes and communities while strengthening the quality and integrity of our services. This is a unique opportunity to blend direct client care, clinical assessment, and team support-making a meaningful impact every single day.
What You'll Do
  • Provide direct behavioral health services in homes, community settings, and via telehealth
  • Build and manage your own caseload
  • Complete functional behavior assessments (including dementia and TBI cases)
  • Review and audit service documentation to ensure compliance and quality
  • Coach and mentor field staff on documentation and best practices
  • Support incident and complaint review processes
  • Maintain organized and compliant tracking systems
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop workflows and improve service delivery
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and CORE program implementation

Work Environment
  • Office, client homes, and community-based settings
  • Light physical activity required (up to 20 lbs)

Requirements
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience conducting functional-based assessments
  • Knowledge of HCBS/CORE programs and NYS OMH regulations
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and support team members
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Peer Certification (or willingness to obtain within 4 months of hire)
