Data Center Coordinator
Chaska, MN 55318
We are willing to take someone just for the vendor escort needs, if necessary. Position MUST be on-site at the actual Data Center. It will be a 4-day work week.

  • Job Description
    • Support 120+ Mainframe and Distributed Applications with their batch runs (app 12 million runs per mo.)
    • Work with application support teams on remediation of batch failures, understanding tight SLAs are in play.
    • Using appropriate monitoring tools, ensure any delays to batch are dealt with through proper escalations.
    • Provide vendor oversight by escorting vendors into the Data Center for break/fix events and scheduled changes.
  • Technical Skills
    • Knowledge of Batch Scheduling tools such as BMC, TWS, or CA7 (3-5 years)
    • Working knowledge of Mainframe online systems such as CICS, and DB2 (3 to 5 years)
    • ITIL Certification (Practitioner)
    • Data Center Best Practices
    • Experienced with Incident, Change, and Problem Management (HPSM, Service Now, Remedy)
