About the team and position

Position Overview:

The entry level position is responsible for handling administrative tasks and responsibilities associated with resolving nationwide network inquiries and on road escalation incidents. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

What you'll be doing:

  • Prepare communications to appropriate team members and operations leadership.  
  • Interact with teams and departments by phone and email regarding processes, incident resolutions and service level objectives. 
  • Assist in resolving real-time on road incidents moving across the Logistics Network by providing real-time incident management and support to all drivers.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for Carvana-employed Vehicle Transporters and Advocates.
  • Provide real-time support to Logistics field teams while maintaining route integrity and service levels.
  • Assist Specialist in locating vendors to drive excellent service while mitigating risks and downtime.
  • Collaborate with Vehicle Transporters, Logistics Field Leadership, Fleet Maintenance, Market Operations, and Network Planning to minimize network disruptions.
  • Perform administrative duties including accurately documenting real-time incidents while effectively communicating incident status and resolution plan to Logistics Field Leadership.

Schedule: 6:00pm - 5:00am, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday 

Pay: $20.00 per hour plus a $2 shift differential 

What the job requires:

To be able to do your job at Carvana, there are some basic requirements we want to share with you.

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. 
  • 1+ years of experience in a Customer Service role.
  • 1+ years of practical experience in Maintenance and/or Logistics.
  • Experience in Logistics Operations with knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance, FMCSA, and HOS.
  • Ability to work as a team player and interact with customers, managers, and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to work variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Ability to commute and work out of the Tempe headquarters.
  • Ability to work in an office environment, with extensive use of computers. 
  • Ability to sit for up to eight hours per day. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and oral.
