Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and facility systems in a commercial or industrial production environment. This includes electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and structural systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test machinery and equipment to ensure proper function.
  • Detect malfunctions by listening for unusual sounds and communicating with team members.
  • Dismantle defective machines and install new or repaired parts.
  • Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts.
  • Install and repair electrical systems and components (transformers, wiring, etc.).
  • Maintain and install hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including gauges, valves, and pressure regulators.
  • Perform general building maintenance and facility repairs.
  • Install, program, and repair automated machinery, including robots and programmable controllers
  • Operate basic machine tools such as saws, grinders, and drills
  • Follow GMPs and all food safety guidelines at all times
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 months of related maintenance experience or equivalent training/education.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety documents, technical manuals, and maintenance instructions.
  • Capable of writing reports and communicating effectively with teams.
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Strong problem-solving and common-sense reasoning abilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regular walking, standing, reaching, and use of hands.
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, or stooping.
  • Must be able to lift and move:
    • Up to 50 lbs regularly
    • Up to 25 lbs frequently
    • Up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.
  • Occasional exposure to:
    • Wet/humid conditions
    • High places, fumes, or airborne particles
    • Extreme temperatures (hot and cold)
