We are looking for a talented Welder/Fabricator, IIwho is responsible for supporting the fabrication department through welding, fabrication, bending and shearing.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Check raw material for dimensional accuracy and quantity record.
  • Fit and weld fabrications to print tolerance.
  • Highly proficient in Heavy MiG, Tig, and Stick welding in both flat and out of position techniques.
  • Experience operating a Shear Machine, Press Brake and Pinch Roll.
  • Experience operating overhead crane, welding machines.
  • Proficient in straightening and finish grinding of fabricated assemblies.
  • Design and build of Jigs and Fixtures to save time and ensure accurate positioning of components.
  • Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot defects and provide quality output according to production schedules.
  • Repairing or modifying components as needed.
  • All other related duties as assigned.
  • Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job.
  • Adhere and perform all duties aligned with the core values of the LINK Group organization, Can-Do Attitude, Courage, Commitment, Humility and Accountability.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in welding and fabricating.
  • Forklift Certification

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Able to read measuring tape and ruler and follow basic blueprints
  • Knowledge of shop mathematics
  • Ability to use a computer

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to walk.
  • Ability to speak verbally.
  • Ability to see with corrective lenses.
  • Ability to hear.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to use a computer.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically.

  • Normal hazards related to working in an office environment.
  • Normal hazards related to working in a manufacturing and testing environment.
  • Normal hazards related to road and air travel.
