JOB SUMMARY (Day-in-the-Life)
The Delivery Driver plays a critical role in ensuring materials are delivered safely, accurately, and on time to job sites and customers. This position operates a non-CDL 26-foot box truck and supports both delivery and warehouse operations. The role works closely with warehouse teams, vendors, and customers to ensure materials are staged, transported, and received correctly. Success in this role means deliveries are completed on schedule, materials are handled safely, and customers receive the correct product without delays or damage.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time to job sites and vendor locations
  • Maintain accuracy by verifying materials against pull sheets, packing slips, and bills of lading prior to delivery
  • Load, unload, and transport cabinets and related materials while preventing damage and ensuring proper handling
  • Support warehouse operations by staging materials for upcoming jobs and assisting with incoming deliveries
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff, vendors, and job sites to ensure timely and efficient delivery execution
  • Process material returns and assist with inventory check-in to maintain accurate records
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment in compliance with all safety policies and regulations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment both on the road and in the warehouse
  • Meet delivery schedules and deadlines to support overall project timelines

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to safely operate a non-CDL 26-foot box truck
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials, including cabinets (up to 75 lbs)
  • Ability to read and verify packing slips, pull sheets, and delivery documentation
  • Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work in both warehouse and customer-facing environments
  • Reliable transportation to and from the work location
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications (nice-to-haves)
  • Experience delivering building materials, cabinetry, or construction-related products
