Job description

Sunbelt Supply is a global provider of flow control solutions. We maintain one of the largest and most diversified selections of valves, actuators, actuation accessories and specialty PFF in North America, comprised of more than 50 major manufacturers. We provide in-house valve automation services, including CAD design and drawings, machine, fabrication, assembly shops featuring CNC machinery, and automation repair work. Sunbelt Supply is also an authorized Automation Service Center for Velan, Bettis and Limitorque and many more.

Sunbelt Supply is a subsidiary of FloWorks International LLC, which is a privately held company located in Pasadena, Texas


The Fusion Technician is responsible for operating in the field, on-call or provides technical support to assigned customers. Installs, configures, performs problem determination and maintains products and equipment at customer sites, following blueprints and manufacturer's instructions, utilizing product and technical knowledge of equipment. Repairs or coordinates repair of worn or defective products or equipment. Performs skilled, technical work in the design, installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair for assigned product or process.


Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...

  • Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment.

  • Understands and communicates safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance in all areas of safety, while identifying the needs for crew safety training with responsibility and accountability for the safety of the crews under their direction.

  • Inspects work site to determine sequencing and method of pipe installation and survey for potential hazards or safety concerns.

  • Provides technical solutions and design implementations for products and services.

  • Strong Math skills. Performs routine analysis, calculations, and recommends changes. Diagnoses and reports malfunctions.

  • Learns and understands technical equipment; attends training and completes certification as required.

  • Completes required documentation, forms, etc. for the job at hand (i.e., JSA, Vehicle Inspections, Equipment Inspections, etc.)

  • Performs other duties, as assigned


A must…

  • Previous HDPE experience. 1 year of experience in area of responsibility

  • HS Diploma or GED preferred.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to apply effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

  • Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.

Environmental Job Requirements…

  • Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors.

  • Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8 - 20 pounds).

  • Typically requires overnight travel more than 10% of the time.

  • Must be able to be on call at times and work overtime when needed.
