Type: Full-Time | Year-Round Pay: 80,000-100,000 DOE + Housing Options Available

Are you a skilled mechanic with leadership experience? Ready to spend your season working in one of Alaskaโ€™s most breathtaking locations? Icy Strait Point is seeking a Lead Mechanic / Service Manager to oversee and perform maintenance on our fleet of vehicles and equipment while leading a small team of mechanics.

What Youโ€™ll Do:
  • Lead daily operations of the mechanic team
  • Perform handsโ€‘on diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain service schedules and ensure all vehicles meet DOT and internal safety standards
  • Support transportation and operations teams with quick response to mechanical issues
  • Keep maintenance logs, manage inventory, and coordinate with vendors
What Youโ€™ll Bring:
  • 5+ years of mechanical experience (diesel/gas engines, hydraulics, electrical, etc.)
  • 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role
  • Strong problemโ€‘solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Valid driverโ€™s license (CDL preferred)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, outdoor environment
